SkillsTx launches certified training

SkillsTx launches certified training

SkillsTx TrainingSkillsTx Education launches certified training for people managers and system administrators.

Both these training courses include SFIA basics and impart the knowledge to truly exploit the benefits of SkillsTx and SFIA.

Many of our clients are happy to exploit our online support options including tutorials and context based help to drive their use of SkillsTx. However, we also recognize that some of our clients prefer the formal ‘proof’ that they are driving maximum benefit from their investment. With this in mind we have created two certified training courses that include online multiple choice examinations to certify the students’ knowledge and understanding.

SkillsTX for People ManagersOverview of the Certified People Manager Training:

Our 2.5 hour SkillsTx Certified People Managers training is designed for:

                • Line managers
                • Team leaders
                • HR and L&D practitioners
                • Others who support staff in their professional development

A basic understanding of SFIA is recommended, but not mandatory, because the framework is embedded within the solution and we cover the basics during the course. Some role playing is used on how to address a skill profile review with your workforce. Starting with an understanding of how the data is used in job matching and gap analysis we then guide the attendees through different approaches to help ensure that an individual’s skill profile is accurate and maintained.

Note: The training is hands-on and therefore requires access to the internet.

Private 2.5hr face-to-face workshop-based training, run at your venue (minimum 4 people). A 30 minute online examination is run immediately after the training with real-time results and automated generation of certificates.

Overview of the Certified Administrator Training:SkillsTx Administrator

  • Maintaining skill attributes and mapped development actions
  • Generating customer analytical reporting as required
  • Coordinating endorsement skills discussions
  • Taking advantage of, and exploiting features such as the candidate/recruitment functionality
  • General platform and user support for SkillsTx

Note: The training is hands-on and therefore requires access to the internet.
