TXpertIQ:
On-Demand Embedded AI Skills Intelligence

A network of specialist AI agents, purpose-built for defined workforce functions, working alongside humans to drive clarity, consistency, and accountability.

TXpertIQ makes skills assurance more human, without diluting the standard.

Competence badges backed by APMG, every skill aligned to SFIA — earned through real conversations, not admin.

The Skills Assumption Conundrum

Questions that haunt every workforce:

Every engagement — from hiring to progression — comes back to the same unanswered questions. Traditional HR systems assume answers that don't exist.

What skills do we have?

Profiles are outdated, self-assessed without evidence, or simply absent.

What skills do we need?

Job descriptions are bloated and untethered from real capability frameworks.

How do we fill the gaps?

Without a skills map, learning and hiring investment is guesswork.

Assumption is a Business Risk

Fragmented skills data leads to failure in cyber programs, AI adoption, and critical transformation timelines.

AI fed on bad data doesn’t become intelligent — it becomes confidently wrong.

SkillsTX exists to kill the guesswork, turning workforce data into accurate, evidence-backed skills intelligence that TXpertIQ agents can actually trust.

Meet the TXpertIQ network

Each agent is purpose-built for a specific workforce function. They work alongside your people — not instead of them.

The Experience Interpreter

Where experience becomes evidence

“Explain your recent work, and I’ll help keep your skills current and guide your next steps.”

ProfileIQ interprets what your people have actually done and maps it to defensible, framework-aligned capability — without forms, without guesswork, and without chasing employees to fill out their own profiles.

  • Identifies demonstrated skills and behaviours from career narrative
  • Updates profiles with SFIA-aligned levels and supporting evidence
  • Goal-oriented, multi-step reasoning — adapts as it works
  • Integrated into Skills Profile pages in SkillsTX

The Role Clarity Specialist

Roles defined by skills, not titles

“Upload a job description, and I’ll turn it into a clear, level-based skill profile.”

RequirementIQ takes bloated, jargon-heavy job descriptions and translates them into precise, SFIA-aligned skill requirements — complete with levels, so you can finally compare candidates and roles on equal terms.

  • Accepts uploaded JDs or descriptive input
  • Produces framework-aligned, level-based requirements
  • Multi-step reasoning — queries unclear language before committing
  • Integrated into Manage Requirements in SkillsTX

The Work-to-Skills Translator

Capturing skills as work happens

“Tell me what you’ve been working on, and I’ll help update your skills and next steps.”

ActionIQ bridges the gap between daily work and skills records. It turns real project experience into evidence-ready skills, routes them for human review, and connects them directly to career progression actions.

  • Converts work narratives into SFIA-mapped skill evidence
  • Prepares outputs for manager or assessor review
  • Suggests next steps and progression actions
  • Integrated into Skills Profile pages in SkillsTX
The Career Navigator

Career progression without guesswork

“I’ll review your skill gaps and provide targeted upskilling recommendations.”

CareerIQ runs a user-driven dialogue that clarifies career paths, exposes the real skill and attribute gaps, and connects learning to concrete outcomes — minimising bias and making progression visible to everyone.

  • Compares current profile to target role requirements
  • Identifies skill, knowledge, and attribute gaps
  • Recommends targeted upskilling with action items
  • Contextual — remembers recent interactions for continuity
  • Integrated into Action Plan pages in SkillsTX
The Proof Builder

Turning experience into defensible evidence

“I’ll review and grade your evidence and suggest ways to strengthen it.”

EvidenceIQ tests skill claims against assessment standards, reveals where evidence is thin or vague, and coaches employees to produce proof that holds up — leading naturally to APMG-backed competence badges.

  • Grades existing evidence against assessment criteria
  • Identifies weak claims and suggests how to strengthen them
  • Prepares evidence for APMG-backed badge submission
  • Contextual — adapts across multiple review sessions
  • Integrated into Evidence pages in SkillsTX

How it works

You share your work

A short conversational prompt, no forms! Each agent asks the right questions for its domain.

1.

Agent maps to frameworks

Skills are mapped to SFIA (or ESF/EEA) levels, with evidence prepared for human review.

2.

Outcomes, not admin

Competence badges issued by APMG. Career actions created. Profiles updated. Plans aligned.

3.

Embedded by Design.

TXpertIQ lives inside the SkillsTX Talent eXperience Platform. Every agent appears on the page where it’s needed. No new tools, no separate login, no license overhead.

AI proposes; your people decide. Every agent output is prepared for manager or assessor review.

Agents use your SkillsTX instance data alongside SFIA and ESF frameworks. Recommendations are specific to your workforce, not generic.

FAQs

What is TXpertIQ?

TXpertIQ is a network of specialist AI agents embedded directly into the SkillsTX Talent eXperience Platform. Each agent is purpose-built for a specific workforce function — from updating skills profiles to preparing competence evidence — and works alongside your people to drive clarity, consistency, and accountability across your workforce.

TXpertIQ has been live with clients since early Q4 2025. It is in active production with enterprise customers today.

No — TXpertIQ is embedded inside the SkillsTX Talent eXperience Platform. Each agent appears on the relevant page in the platform where it’s needed, so there’s no separate login, no new tool to learn, and no additional license overhead for your employees.

No. TXpertIQ is designed to be human-in-the-loop by default. Every agent output — whether a skill update, evidence grade, or career recommendation — is prepared for human review. AI proposes; your people decide.

There are six agents: ProfileIQ interprets career experience and updates skill profiles; RequirementIQ translates job descriptions into SFIA-aligned skill requirements; ActionIQ captures skills as work happens and prepares them for review; CareerIQ guides career progression by identifying skill gaps and recommending learning; EvidenceIQ grades skill evidence and prepares it for competence badge submission; and YourAgents enables workforce planning that includes AI agents alongside your human team.

Contextual AI agents (CareerIQ and EvidenceIQ) remember recent interactions within a session and adapt their responses accordingly — great for ongoing dialogs like a career review or evidence coaching session. Agentic AI agents (ProfileIQ, RequirementIQ, and ActionIQ) use goal-oriented, multi-step reasoning and can interact with tools and APIs to complete tasks autonomously, such as updating a profile or generating a full requirements profile from a job description.

YourAgents is a strategic workforce and resilience planning model that lets you include AI agents — such as Microsoft Copilot — alongside your human employees in planning, skills matching, and gap analysis. It gives you a unified view of what your whole workforce (human and AI) can deliver.

TXpertIQ is trained on SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) and ESF/EEA, using your organization’s own SkillsTX instance data to keep recommendations specific to your workforce rather than generic.

Yes. Competence badges produced through TXpertIQ are backed by APMG International and aligned to the SFIA framework — making them credible, externally recognized credentials rather than internal certificates.

Yes. Because all skill assessments and career recommendations are grounded in frameworks (SFIA levels, evidence criteria), TXpertIQ reduces the subjectivity that leads to bias in traditional performance and progression conversations.

Existing SkillsTX customers can request access through their Account Manager, Customer Success contact, or the Support team.

TXpertIQ is available free for 12 months to all current SkillsTX customers.

No. AI agents in TXpertIQ do not occupy user licenses. They run alongside your existing SkillsTX seats without adding license costs.

Nothing extra. Employees interact with the relevant agent directly from within their normal SkillsTX pages — for example, the ProfileIQ button appears on the Skills Profile page. The experience is conversational: the agent asks the right questions, and the employee responds in plain language.

The agents are trained on your organization’s SkillsTX instance data alongside SFIA and ESF framework content. This means recommendations are specific to your workforce’s actual roles, skills, and requirements.

Yes. EvidenceIQ shows employees the grade it has assigned to their evidence, explains why, and coaches them on how to strengthen it before it goes to an assessor — making the process transparent and development-focused rather than evaluative.
